Villa Boukarou

This villa on the Cote d’Azur was redesigned for both the owner’s personal use and as a luxury boutique rental property. Interior design and branding work together to tell the story of a nostalgic family vacation home with unique style.

Villa Boukarou

This extensive project included the villa concept, interior design and project management, and the eventual marketing of the villa. Villa Boukarou was designed to be a unique family vacation home, returned to year after year, with new memories layered on to the space over time. We worked with an architect to bring this vision to life, completely redoing all mechanical systems and making significant structural changes. Spaces were designed taking into account the concept of creating memories. There was space to create art and play games, including giant chess on the square terrace tiles and a bocce court. The pool area was reimagined as a family gathering space, and details such as childproof provencal style iron fencing ensured child safety. In particular, the kitchen was designed to allow cooking together in a state of the art, but still nostalgic feeling space. The final design was a space in which not only the owner felt at home and surrounded by familiar art and memories but where rental guests also felt a welcome sense of belonging.
